"Phambili" is a Zulu word meaning "forward" or "progress," and it's exactly what the company was built on. Founded in 1999, Phambili Services (Pty) Ltd has grown into a fully integrated environmental services group, with 148 employees and operations across South Africa.

In our early years, the business was largely transactional: collection, transportation, disposal. Today, we operate across waste transport, recycling, hazardous waste management, and resource recovery, serving some of South Africa's most strategically important industries, including mining, energy, and municipal services.

That evolution reflects a simple belief: how a society manages its waste is a direct reflection of how it values its people and its future. We don't see waste as a problem to be disposed of. We see it as a resource to be recovered, and a community to be served in the process. It's why we invested in technology and systems for sorting and handling recyclable waste at a time when the industry was still largely manual, and why our long-term client relationships have grown into genuine partnerships built on years of reliable delivery.
